History & Mission
In 1971 twelve artists formed the Dunwoody Fine Art Association, (DFAA) as a club in order to exhibit their art together, learn from each other, and help each other grow in their creativity and self expression. It was their hope to encourage and promote fine art in Dunwoody.
The club grew steadily, incorporated in 1983 and in 1987 was granted not-for-profit status. Since then the DFAA has continued to grow and thrive and has become an important part of the Atlanta art community. Most of the membership actively participate and exhibit their art regularly.
The association’s objectives are for the artistic advancement of it's members, to stimulate the community in fine art and to engage in charitable and educational activities within the community.
