After retiring from the airlines, Betty combined her love of travel and the beauty of nature with her life-long love of art. She has taken classes and workshops in both oil and pastel
with nationally renowned artists. Her paintings are in public and private collections.
About Betty...
Much of my inspiration comes from extensive travel in the United States and internationally. And painting "en plein air" with changing light, color and value provides a creative energy and excitement for my paintings. In my studio, I paint from photographs taken locally or during my travels.
