The opening reception for S&I 2020 was held on Saturday, January 25th at Abernathy Art Center. DFAA president, Sara Hendrix introduced juror, Susannah Darrow who then presented awards. The DFAA S&I committee included Sara Hendrix, Margaret Gallagher, Mary Jo Tan, Karen Peay, Sharon Weiss and Susan Gallo. Laura Martin and her staff at AAC put together a lovely reception that was enjoyed by all who came to view the work. Photos of all the work including the winners with their pieces will be posted soon. Thanks to all the volunteers who helped make this event a success!
