Betsy Cozine has painted all of her life. She has specialized in watercolor, but also worked in pastel and recently in collage. She has received regional and national awards
through the Georgia Watercolor Society, Atlanta Artists Center, Georgia Pastel Society, and Dunwoody Fine Arts Association. Her paintings are in corporate and private collections throughout the United States. She has also taught watercolor classes to students in the Atlanta area.

 

Betsy has mostly painted realistic paintings in watercolor and pastel, but recently has enjoyed working with textures. Her paintings of the sea, combine her emotions with the natural rhythms and mysteries of the vast and beautiful ocean. She continues to try different effects in watercolor and collage and enjoys her relationships with other artists.
