Sights & Insights, February 2026
On the afternoon of Saturday, February 7th, DFAA and Abernathy Arts Center held the opening reception and awards ceremony for Sights & Insights 2026. Barbara Riordan, co-chair of the exhibition, and juror Veronica Hogan presented the awards to six talented artists. We would like to thank DFAA members for the wonderful turn out for the Best of the Best (BoB) show. Many thanks to our juror Carol Santos for choosing pieces to create a lovely exhibit. The BoB exhibit has become an integral part of DFAA's Dunwoody Fine Art Month and Dunwoody's Arts & Culture Month. Congratulations to our winners! Dunwoody Fine Art Month, October 2025
The month of October is our annual chance to share work from DFAA artists with the Dunwoody community. We had over 20 businesses and 32 artists participating in Fine Art Month this year! Chupito’s Azteca Grille hosted our kickoff reception on October 8. We had artists drawing and painting from a model to show what lies beneath creating a masterpiece. there was also music and a speaker from District 5 Band. Etsy Artist Market Sales - Fall 2020
DFAA collaborated with the Dunwoody Nature Center on an Etsy shop that was the concept of DFAA artist Sharon Weiss. DFAA artists Sharon Weiss and Susan Gallo designed and set up the shop then Sharon managed it and helped with the fulfillment of sales. The shop opened on October 1st 2020 and ran through January 2021. The theme of the artwork was nature and the price cap for all pieces was $300.00.
