Cindi is an American impressionist based in the South, captivated by the interplay of light and shadow. Her work transforms everyday objects into moments of beauty, revealing how light can elevate the ordinary.
A self-taught artist, Williams specializes in still life and figurative painting. Her goal is to evoke emotion and stir memories within her viewers. Born and raised in Florida, she spent her childhood exploring the marshes, beaches, and farms of her home state, fostering a lifelong love of art. After working in the computer industry for many years she was happy to return to her first passion and now paints with fervor and dedication. Her work has been recognized in many regional shows and she is looking forward to her landscapes hanging in the state capital in 2026 in the Colors of Georgia exhibition. She paints full time from her studio at Urban Art Collective can be seen at her studio and Wild Oats and Billy Goats in Decatur.
About Cindi...
My goal is to create art that exists between representation and abstraction. I am inspired by the colors of nature whether that is in flowers, living beings or the natural world.
