Terri Henningson loved painting as a child, and as early as the age of five was winning awards in art. By eight, she even had a “one woman” art show at the local hospital. However, because her main talents resided in the world of music, she focused on her violin studies as her practice time increased, making it necessary to choose between the two art forms. She has a degree in music performance, and teaches violin and freelances as a violinist in the Atlanta area.

About Terri...

No longer able to ignore the yearning to return to art, I began painting about eight years ago, and have reclaimed my passion for color, texture and palette knives. I also enjoy combining art and music with my palette knife, creating paintings of violins…prints of which have sold in the Julliard School of Music Book Store.
