Sharon graduated from UCLA (cum laude) with a B.A. degree in art and a teaching credential. Although Sharon had a career as a health care software designer until 2016, she continued to pursue art as a Member of Excellence of the Southeastern Pastel Society and as painting and drawing teacher at the Spruill Center for the Arts.
About Sharon...
My paintings have been included in numerous juried shows, and several paintings have won awards, including a first place Faculty category award to the Spruill Gallery's 2013 Student and Faculty Juried Show. My paintings are in many private collections across the country. Although I am known for my vivid food portraits, I also paint landscapes, florals, pet portraits and non-traditional abstracts in pastel, oils and acrylics.
