Lisa Kleysteuber hails from Vincennes, Indiana. She had numerous friends and characters stored in her imagination for many years. Lisa now resides in the metro Atlanta area.
After retiring from a 30+ career in technology, she began to focus on her art. She traveled the world learning about ceramics, painting and art history, creative writing, and denim jean-making. However, creating art on canvas and paper has become her passion as she is able to bring her friends and characters to life in a myriad of settings and situations.
About LIsa...
To date, I have created 350+ pieces using mixed media. Most of my work is on paper and I employ a horror vacui style, filling the entire canvas with a vibrant palette of color and light. My work has been shown at Sights & Insights in 2018, 2020 and 2023 where I earned a third place ribbon.
