Linda Brown enjoyed a decades-long career in information technology, starting with the very first personal computers and ending with network management for Fidelity Investments. Her early artistic endeavors were in the area of fiber arts. In her mid-sixties she began taking drawing classes and found that a natural ability allowed her to do well, having been born into a family with innate artistic abilities.
Linda went on to explore different types of art and mediums and today works in acrylic, ink and mixed media. Her work has been accepted into several shows in the Atlanta area and has appeared at the United Artists of America Gallery in New York City.
About Linda...
Making art has forced me to look at my tendencies, my automatic responses, my deepest held beliefs and reconsider the ways in which I see and understand the world around me. I’ve learned that art of any type has its own message and purpose and our job is to let those messages come through us into a world in desperate need of a deeper understanding of the interconnectedness of life.
