Jody was born in Alaska and raised in Oregon, Washington and Alaska. She has lived in Dunwoody for 23 years.  She has a B.S. in the English Language Arts and believes that poetry and literature harmonize with the visual arts. She was influenced by her mother, a respected landscape artist, to study the spectrum of color and nature.

About Jody...

I consider myself curious and have taken many art classes to explore many mediums. I like working with acrylics because it is a forgiving medium and suits my personality. I like the accidents that happen when paint touches water. Also, acrylics can be spontaneous when mixed with textures. I am elated when I learn something new and enjoy sharing my discoveries with other artists.
