Although creative in a variety of media since childhood, Donna began her formal study of art in 2018 under the direction of Chery Baird through the Spruill Center for the Arts, Dunwoody, GA. Donna has explored several media: drawing in charcoal, ink, colored pencil, and pastels; painting realistically and abstractly with acrylics; collaging with manipulate, found, and oriental papers; and mixing all these approaches in a variety of realistic and abstract works.

About Donna...

I draw inspiration from nature, life cycles, reading, traveling, and making something from what is at hand, focusing on contrast, texture, shape, and color.

My work has been exhibited locally in many art centers and businesses. I have had work accepted in juried shows and have won awards for both paintings and collage. Currently I am a member of Dunwoody Fine Arts Association and the Atlanta Collage Society.
