During February of 2013 Dunwoody Fine Art Association opened a "Pop Up" gallery in Dunwoody Village Shopping Center during our Dunwoody Fine Art month. The gallery continued through the months of March and April of 2013. Several receptions and presentations took place in those few months. Our opening reception had live music and food provided by the Dunwoody Woman's Club. David Long, a Dunwoody interior designer, spoke on artwork and interiors. Marlow's Tavern provided food for this event. We also had a wine tasting and a reception thanking the businesses who supported us during Fine Art Month by providing us a place to hang our artwork in their establishments. Several pieces of artwork were sold from the gallery and our membership grew as a result of the visibility of our work and our organization. Chestnut and Kingsley Elementary Schools received donations that were comprised of a donation from Binders and a percentage of the proceeds from art sales and events in the gallery.
